Recollections by Teena
Fran's niece Teena recalled that Fran helped returned servicemen through a wartime support group, remembered in the transcript as the “Friendship Club.” Teena also said Fran had worked at “the CSIRO” as a ledger keeper.1 These recollections are in Teena's interview; the organization name and employment sequence need checking against Fran's papers.

- Existing records document Fran at COR from 1934 to 1953 as a ledger supervisor. Teena's CSIRO recollection may describe another period or may be mistaken; the interview also questions the support group's name. See open questions.
