Neil McLeod (1884–1941)
Youngest brother of Norman MacLeod; one of Cath's uncles. Lost at sea in WW2.

Life
Neil joined his brother Norman in the late 1800s / early 1900s to farm near Geraldton, WA; the venture lasted only a few years due to drought.
He served as an Able Seaman on the MV Michael E, which was torpedoed and sank in the Atlantic on 2 June 1941. Neil died several days later from his injuries. His son, also named Neil McLeod, was in the crew and was with him when he died.
