Life

Charles Bailie Whillas followed his brother John Foggo to South Australia, leaving Edinburgh in October 1869. He spent his career in the SA Department of Education, rising to Inspector of Schools in 1899 before retiring at the end of 1908. His son, Charles John Whillas, settled in Port Lincoln.
