Neptune Island Lighthouse
A South Australian island lighthouse where Norman MacLeod served and where several family members briefly lived.
Connection to the family
- Norman MacLeod appointed lightkeeper on 7 May 1930; his family arrived with him.
- J.H. Whillas appointed temporary lightkeeper on 16 Oct 1931, staying ~12 months due to a staff shortage; he left on the MV Yandra in Aug 1932.
- Cath arrived on the MV Yandra on 10 Jan 1932 and left for Port Adelaide on the MV Lady Loch on 14 Feb 1932.
