Immigration: Catherine McLeod & mother on the Orvieto (1927)

Summary

Cath and her mother emigrated from Scotland as nominated assisted immigrants to South Australia (SA records GRG7/10, unit 39c, File 3798). The passenger list is held. Norman MacLeod had already returned to Australia (reportedly ~2 years earlier) and had begun his lighthouse career at Cape Jaffa in February 1927.
